There’s a lot to love about Glossier, the American beauty brand whose slogan is “Skin First, Make-up Second.”
What is it about Glossier products I love so much? The minimalist aesthetic with a focus on healthy, glowing skin and sheer washes of color, for one. The Glossier look is not high-impact but perfect for everyday looks when you just want to feel like your best self.
Another box the brand ticks for me is that it’s cruelty-free—meaning none of their products are tested on animals, ever.
I also have a weakness for simple, pretty packaging. Glossier’s signature pink boxes and sleek white and pastel containers and bottles look good on any vanity. The company also gives customers the option to choose less packaging at checkout in an effort to reduce the impact of packaging on the environment.

Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow
It looks like a test tube from 10th grade chemistry class but it’s a vial of subtle, shimmering color that glides on with a sponge-tipped applicator. My favorite is the shade Moon which is perfect for highlighting the inner corners of the eyes and the lids. The cream-based eye shadow blends out seamlessly and—bonus—you can throw it in your bag for touchups.
Boy Brow
Possibly my all-time favorite tinted brow gel, Boy Brow makes brows look fuller, fluffier and keeps them in place all day long. A slight tint helps naturally define light or sparse brows for a soft, feathery look.
Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color
My favorite blush for several years running, Cloud Paint is a gel-cream formula with sheer and buildable color. My current favorite color is Beam, a soft peach that gives the most flattering, natural glow. The tiniest dot of color goes a long way and diffuses into skin like a dream.
Haloscope HIghlighter
Haloscope gives a soft, dewy glow to cheekbones, cupid’s bow or whatever else you like to highlight. The formula is oil-based and infused with crystal extracts, giving it a beautiful sheen that stays hydrating over the course of the day.
